About Us
I am Jacqui and I live in North-West London with my husband and two grown-up children. As a parent to a neuro-diverse child, I can understand parental concerns for your child’s well-being for now and in the future.
I have been teaching for over fifteen years, supporting children with special needs within the classroom. Alongside this role I have worked as a Volunteer Children’s Counsellor, where I discovered the impact of developing a Growth Mindset. I have subsequently brought this approach to all my students, resulting in an increase in confidence and motivation to succeed.
When my own child was diagnosed with “dyscalculia”, it was an alien word and concept, as it still is to many parents and teachers. Following tireless input my son gained a GCSE in Maths and was able to attend university.

My passion for teaching has continued, by working in schools as a SENCO & volunteering as a Well-Being Practitioner in an Art Therapy Charity. When COVID struck, it had a huge impact on learning for all children. I wanted my passion for teaching to make a real difference to those who learn in a different way and subsequently qualified as a Specialist Teacher with The Helen Arkell Charity.

Feedback that I receive always refers to my ability to INSPIRE and MOTIVATE, whilst continuing to make lessons FUN! And so, this is where FLOURISH TEACHING began: to support students, parents, and teachers who work with neurodiversity every day and hopefully live happily ever after!
